thank, texture!
Ive had this app for quite some time and it is great!! The magazine selection is great. I would love if you could increase/decrease the font on articles. I also love that when I view on my iPad I can see what page Im on and the bottom scroll bar so I know where I am in the magazine. Its very annoying viewing on a iPhone without these features. But overall I love having access to all my favorite magazines Current and past issues.
I love this app but the saved stories is buggy. I would save a "story" and later open it to see a different page of the magazine. Its unusable.
I love that I can access later issues of magazines back in 2014 and things I love the app inside of having to get a subscription
One of the best...every magazine imaginable without the clutter, literally at your fingertips...highly recommend!!!
I have tried many magazines online and never really liked them. This app is wonderful. The downloads are super fast and there is a broad selection.
There are a few magazines that I like to read that arent in theyre selection. But overall I love this app so far. I love that you can store and organize articles that you love for later. So much better than saving dusty old magazines and cutting out articles, only to lose them or throw away later.
Love this cause its hassle free
This is a great app, good navigation, lots of magazines, and offline reading support for those long flights. BUT... The current version is not optimized for the 12.9" screen of the first iPad Pro. That means text that could look retina sharp is in fact a little fuzzy, and the UI is comically large. Please add support for the large Pro, its been over half a year since it came out, time for an app update! ---- Magazine requests: more music production magazines. Sound-on-Sound, Future Music, Computer Music, Tape Op,eMusician, Keyboard Magazine, etc
I have only had the app 2 weeks so far I love it!! Lots of choices to read.
I like this app a lot. It is super comfy to have access to so many magazines. I find it to be very useful during my long train commute.
May 6, 2016 - dropping from four to three stars. Recent updates brought back many previous glitches that had been resolved. App crashes for no apparent reason, and downloaded magazines dont retain the last page you were on like they used to - they always revert back to the cover page. Still better than buying hard copy magazines, but app has enough bugs to make it a very frustrating experience at times. App was close to five stars a couple of versions ago, so why would you mess with success? Fix the bugs and then leave well enough alone! ********** If you love magazines but hate spending money every month on all the MANY that you love...this is the app for you! One price...for almost all of my favorites. And nothing to throw away or try to recycle! Ive used Next Issue on an iPad 2 and now on an iPad mini. Its far less glitchy than it used to be, and generally improves with each update (emphasis on generally). Its a solid four, and with some tweaks (um...bookmarks?), it could be a five. But none of the drawbacks are significant enough for me to not use it...I do so happily and enthusiastically. Because Im a magazine junkie...
Used to love this app. The update before this one created a bug that magazines open to cover regardless of where you leave off. Very frustrating. Tech support assured me they were aware of the problem and there was a guaranteed fix ( their words ) in the next update. May 2, 2016 the app updated but still no fix. Will be forced to cancel my subscription. So sad to render a great app useless.
I have never had so much trouble accessing account and changing account access either free, basic or premium!! Apple should not back an app so difficult to use!!!!
I dont care what anyone says, this app is the best. Come on now. Go to the store and buy a Magazine and it costs you 3 to 5 dollars for one magazine!! You get tons of magazines for 15 dollars a month!! Cant be beat!
I am a contractor and this is an amazing tool for me to educate my self to do things more efficiently. Amazing app for the price.
Not sure what to make of the complaining reviews because the app is extremely fast on my iPad Pro 9.7 and the text and images are razor sharp. I originally doubted the utility of the various "Highlights" articles but now I read them often and find they really do highlight articles of interest. Might not be fair to say this app saves me money because I read so many more magazines with it than I would ever buy but if you added up what those would cost it would be much more than the app subscription.
Ive had this app since before it was called Texture and I absolutely love but recently every time I use it it will spontaneously kick me out of the article I was reading and take me to a new magazine that I had never once opened before! I wonder if this a glitch only I am experiencing or are other people experiencing this too? Other than this truly inconvenient glitch I love this app. I hope to get it fixed!
But they need to fix it so that it remembers the spot in the issue you last read upon return.
Great magazine app! It seems to get better with updates. Love the interactive features in magazine articles.
